Yurily Norshteyn

pierre beteille

Nancy Lang

Performance artist.... of some sort.

She says herself is an artwork and people somehow agree.... but I think it's bunch of bs...

But many people love her and her works(which is her...), so I thought this was interesting.

It's quite interesting. check it out.

unknown artist

I typed in "Korean contemporary art" and this came out.

I'm not sure who the author is... I guess it is various people.

It's made for China-Korea art exchange exbition or something.

Anyway I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nickolas Stoller

I went to the commons theatre last week and watched this moive.

It was awesome.

Jackson Pollick

One of my friend used to be so angry at Pollock's work.

I like it though.

miyazaki hayao

...By now, I'm out of artists to talk of.

So, I'm just going to post about artists that I think anybody would know, but I liked, and still talk about them nonetheless.

Miyazaki Hayao is probably the best animation director in Japan..

All the kids loves his movies. Everybody!

His studio is like Disney's of America.

He recently retired, though, and other members of the studio will continue the great work.

Masa, Korean webtoon artist

Masa is a webtoon artist who uses his narrative skills to get fans.

His art works are the above two drawings, which is better than average people, but still not that good.

But his stories make up all of it.

He currently has few contracts of manga that is published where he wrties the story and another artist draws the drawings.

The below drawing is of one of his coworker's

You can actually check out one of his works in english at

This is one of Masa's most famous work...

But it is also his "experimental" one. The quality of drawing is very low to say least..(it is drawn basically so that you just understands the story.)

But the story should be good.

Peter Lee

Concept artist of Blizzard entertainment.

Mostly backgrounds.

I've heard people say that he's probably the best in his trade.

Filippo Brunelleschi

Renaissance architect (used to be sculptor).

Invented many ingenuities that aloud people to make better art, build bigger domes... etc.

Used to sculpt, but lost to his rival in an important contest, moved to architecture, and became bigger than his rival.

Da vinchi

I don't really care that much of his paintings, but I just love the fact that he tried to invent the helicopter and wrote backwards in his notes...

P.S. I don't really get why people say Mona Lisa is beautiful. she looks pretty ugly to me.

Michelangelo

Beautiful.

I would probably kill whoever forces me to do all that work though.

Do Ho Suh

A Korean American.

Abstract sculptor.

He talks a lot about his personal troubles as an immigrant to USA.

I can relate to his works a lot.

Togashi Yoshihiro

Again, I'm not sure if Americans would know this guy...

Although, I have seen a TV animation of his work in America before. (The above one.)

Everybody say this guy would have been a God of manga, if he didn't play Dragon Quest so much and actually worked on manga
-_-.

He would sometimes go months before he drew another chapter since he started a new series...

They say he had a lot of trouble with Jump magazine, like they sometimes locked him up in hotel rooms so he would draw his manga. And he is trying to put revenge on them by not working-_-;;;

Inoue Takehiko

Slam Dunk~ made everybody want to play basketball.

Vagabond. Story about some samurai...

I don't know if Americans know this guy well.

He is considered one of God of manga in Japan.

Akira Toriyama

Again, everybody knows Dragon Ball.

Another God of manga...

He used to work as commercial designer before he started up manga with his studio.

Tezuka Osamu

They call him the "first God of manga".

I think that sums most of it up.

Oda eiichiro

Everybody knows One Piece.

Number one popular vote in Japan's most popular manga mag., Jump, almost everytime its on...

They say this guy went to Jump building when he was 17 or something and drew first two chapters of One Piece in an hour or so...

Closest person to becoming the next God of manga?

Johannes Vermeer

Master of oil painting.

Did many scenes where you can see the window.

Caravaggio

(Click!)

Caravaggio. His real name... I don't remember. But it wasn't Caravaggio.

I did couple paintings in his dark-strong light style.

He traveled a lot while painting, often forced to (by the law).

Killed someone while on one of his travels.
